Brazil : ESL Program Administrator

Description

Combine your experience in ESL with your administrative gifting and leadership skills to lead the ESL program and ministry at the Brazilian mission agency MAEB. We teach English and minister to missionary candidates as well as provide English teaching to local churches with the purpose of increasing missions awareness and interest. 

We are looking for someone to plan and implement the regular 1-2 week English Immersion camps at the MAEB Deployment campus, as well as provide oversight and leadership to the ongoing ESL training for missionary candidates who need to improve their English to better serve them on the mission field. You would also oversee the ESL ministry outside of the MAEB campus which uses a curriculum designed to boost student's interest in and understanding of World Missions.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong Christian commitment that has ESL or education training and experience. You also need gifting in the areas of administration and leadership and must be able to work alongside national believers and leaders with humility and in a culturally appropriate way.

Knowledge of the Portuguese language is not a requirement as you'll be doing on field language learning (Portuguese).
