Opportunities

Thailand : English Teachers (OMF)

Description

TEAM is partnering with OMF International in Thailand. OMF’s growing ministries in east Asia include everything from church planting, youth outreach, and medical ministries to teaching and working among minority people groups.

There is a high demand for English teachers in Thailand. We aim to place Christians in Thai colleges, technical schools, universities, and secondary schools working in cooperation with church planters and local Christians to develop relationships with teachers and students, and share the gospel with them. Primary responsibility for discipleship would fall to the church planters, although the teachers would be encouraged to help as time allows. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the teachers should participate in weekly team meetings, endeavor to integrate with the academic community and become identified with the church planters. They should be involved at the church and help with English outreach and camps when possible.
