Opportunities
Brazil : Teacher, Bible Institute (SAM)
Description
This opportunity is with TEAM’s ministry partner SAM (South America Mission), an evangelical and interdenominational mission organization with a vision to see the church of Jesus Christ multiplied across South America, transforming local communities and the world by embodying the kingdom of God. SAM works in five countries in South America: Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru and Paraguay. SAM's areas of missional emphasis focus on living as redeemed children of God, reproducing authentic disciples of Jesus, multiplying churches and church networks, training Godly leaders and enabling transformational initiatives within the local church.
Teachers are needed at the Ammi Training Center in Chapada, Brazil. Since 1995, the training center has been building leaders to help build the church among the indigenous peoples of Brazil. The center provides Biblical teaching alongside basic living skills such as the Portuguese language, reading, writing, gardening, cooking, mechanics, and the use of computers. This opportunity includes the teaching of Bible classes, the discipleship of students, and participating in life skills alongside indigenous students.
