Description
Help improve lives in a desperately poor area through holistic development. We need someone to work with sustainable agriculture and gardening to evangelize and disciple in communities and at El Camino Ranch. You will use natural resources (palms, fruit trees, animal husbandry, plants) to help with community development and microenterprise businesses. In addition, you will get to hold seminars for best practices and sustainability challenges, develop community gardens and teach growing techniques for semi-arid climates.
Requirements
Agriculture experience a must, formally or informally. Strong work ethic, flexibility and teachability. Willingness to observe and learn the local context first. Spanish a must — language school needed if not fluent.
