Japan : Worship Leader (Tokyo, TMMI)
Be a part of starting a new church by using innovative methods to build bridges to the gospel in an unreached arae of downtown Tokyo.
Lead worship for Sunday service and Friday night Bible study, as well as other special events. A small core of Japanese language songs would need to be learned & practiced before arrival, with other songs gradually added as language ability increases.
No previous Japanese language is required (although always welcomed). Studying and the use of Japanese would be an expected part of ministry for mid-termers. We would ask that Japanese study begin several months before arriving in Japan. We would help potential candidates with this. Ten hours of Japanese study a week would be part of their weekly schedule after arrival.
