Mexico : Sailboat Captain


Do you have a passion for sailing and the gospel?  Consider joining a church planting team in Mexico while focusing on employing your gifts and skills in a unique ministry role.  The sailboat ministry falls under the Reconciliamar Initiative in La Paz, Mexico. In this role, a sailboat captain will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the sailboat ministry.  This includes but is not limited to the hire of additional staff as this minstry develops, casting vision for this ministry and providing leadership and accountability as it grows.  Someone in this role must be very knowledgeable of sailboat systems, safety procedures and keep things at an operational level. This person should additionally be skilled in relational evangelism, particularly using the outdoors and sailing as bridges to the gospel. This position will be responsible for advertising and facilitating evangelistic outings on the boat while connecting with local boat workers/fishermen/captains.

Join our team for either short term, mid-term or long-term positions.  


College degree, Knowledge of creation apologetics. Strong in relational evangelism, self starter, detail oriented. Able to work in high heat/ humidity. Experience in sailing.
