Description

If you have a passion for serving local communities through Biblical counseling/mental health awareness, consider joining a team of church planters and professionals working in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  The position of a Counselor and Mental Health Program developer is a vital role to serve a community that has a high rate of abuse, drug and alcohol abuse and suicide.  Serve in settings such as Celebration Recovery, suicide prevention and awareness programs and Mending the Soul groups.  Additional avenues of serving the community could be premarital counseling an dother family-based seminarys.  This role works along side a house-church network and seeks to bridge the gospel within the context of counseling and mental health.  Though not currently developed, the long-term vision behind this role is to operate out of a local community center to have natural access to serving the community. Learning Spanish is required on field if not already fluent.

This position is for either mid-term or long-term program lengths.
