Chad : Community Health Education (CHE) Coordinator


Meet community-identified needs through a CHE program as part of a church planting team. Diagnose basic community health needs, train nationals to communicate health principles and facilitate WASH-type community projects.


Devotion to the Lord and to reaching Muslims, willingness to face opposition, resilience, physical health, training and experience in linguistics.
CHE TOT 1&2.  Ability to communicate community development concepts to a largely illiterate population. Much patience and negotiation skills are needed to work with village communities in order that they discover their real needs and own their projects.
French and Chadian Arabic will need to be learned.
