East Asia : Summer Internship

Our focus is a north asian Buddhist community living in a remote area of this region.  We are currently based in a metropolitan area while we are pursuing language acquisition and building work opportunities aimed at entering the target area, using business and medical approaches.  The position is intended primarily for those considering medium to long-term work in this area, to walk along-side those seeking to reach this minority with the good news and eventually seeing the body planted and growing among them.  We trust that this experience will help confirm whether or not long-term overseas work in this area is one’s vocation.  Interns will pursue an initial phase of language learning during these two months, participate in the team’s activities, as well as contribute to the community life of the international fellowship within this city.

Bachelor’s degree or Bible college certificate
Medical Professional (nurse, doctor, or administrator) or interest in Business as Mission (BAM)
